today's haiku was inspired by the following email exchange that took place on may 1, 2008 between philly, LA and SF.
(coodz) Diddy, please make sure to block out your calendar on Fri 5/23, as you will be exiting the compound for a half day. no full day for you. puerto at noon. or bust. i think we should do a back booth. it could get ugly.don't want to be caught in the mid day sunshine.
(diddy) Coodz?? in a back booth??? What is going on???
(tiltini) will Wendy be booked for our scheduled event?
(diddy) And hung over, just the way we like her
(faux) i'll settle for lisa
(diddy) Her name is still Debbie
(tiltini) mama cass
(diddy) Still there
(coodz) Old man drinking coffee at the bar
(diddy) He's still there
(faux) "baby's got back" on the juke box
(diddy) And some Bee Gees if we are lucky
(coodz) coodz memorial combo
(diddy) YES and this time you super size it with double flauta.
(coodz) are we getting the cheese dip?
(diddy) YES
(faux) "baby i'm for real" and "endless love" stickers
(diddy) This is EXCITING, new at safeway vending machine PJP2 and saint dolls
(coodz) will they have a new salsa flavor for us?
(diddy) No new salsa edp's, just reupholstered booths
(tiltini) as long as the margie flavor remains consistent. we will need to broker the OG salsa to be shipped to the cantina here in philly as that would change EVERYTHING
(diddy) Some things must remain in SF, that's what keeps you all coming back
