so i spent my sunday at sea sailing on a boat that goes by the name of "sugar magnolia". it was a nice follow-up to saturday, which was spent with my dear friend mr. abbey by the pool eating taffy cookies (the ultimate summer cookie in my opinion). the sun went down and we were cold so we bundled up in cashmere cardigans and went to see parker posey's new movie "broken english" (i'd go see it if i were you).other recent activities include an outing to cinespia for a picnic and a screening of roman holiday...
where tom met johnny ramone and tried to feed the ducks. (if you can't read his shirt it says "eat to live, not live to eat". if you have to ask him what that means, you are an idiot. if you are the guy next to us who managed to plow through a bag of pirate's booty while sleeping through the movie, your shirt should read, "eat to sleep, not sleep to eat")
there have also been a few trips to sf where lou and i visited our pal stanley and did some sightseeing at the palace of fine arts...
and she fought with the ducks...
oh yeah, and i made a really refreshing salad one day. if it's hot where you are and you want a delicious salad you should try this one...jicama, grapefruit, avocado and pumpkin seeds. so yummy! (check out my new (but very old) hand painted japanese dish set!)
summer is here and i'm lovin every minute of it...hope you are too.
