today is a glorious day indeed. not only do we have a new president!!! but one of my favorite musicians has released a new album today. i highly recommend you pick up andrew bird's "noble beast". that is, if you like beautiful, uplifting, smart songs. (and whistling too).
also out today is a new ep from bon iver, if you aren't familiar, you should check him out too. his album "for emma" was one of my favorites of 08 and also number one on my list of "music that will make you cry". but only because it is so beautiful.
